P115W-D LED VERSION

KISAN TECH PATHBLAZER HEADLIGHT MODULATOR (FOR GL1800/GL1500)

Dual headlights Master/Slave Set for H4 or Japanese H7 bulbs (with P43t expander) that plug into 3-pin sockets.

It is available in the New Compact Style with optional LED software.

New Style P115W-D is totally self-contained. There are no hidden boxes or switches. There are no wires to cut or splice. The New Style is is more compact and uses latest generation electronics.

New Style P115W-D  is designed for a motorcycle with dual 3-pin H4, or a Japanese H7 2-pin (with p43t expander to plug into H4 socket) headlamps - like GoldWing.

This dual unit has (1) Master and (1) Slave. Master supplies the modulation pulses to the Slave, so they are fully synchronized. Each modulator is 1.05 (26mm) round, and requires no additional room after it's plugged on the back of the bulb because of the pig-tail design.

LED Headlight Bulbs: Special software program controls the modulation with PWM mode for a "softer" transition.

pathBlazer circuit modulates the hi-beam current - from 100% ON to about 17% OFF. This is accomplished by using a p-channel MOSFET, which is inherently safe. The MOSFET is designed to fail in the ON state. For additional safety, the circuits DO NOT utilize the lo-beam whatsoever!

MAX power rating is 115 watts. DO NOT EXCEED!

P115W-D comes with a detachable daylight sensor, which plugs into the Master of the pathBlazer. A Sync wire then plugs into the Slave.

The daylight sensor functions as a switch; it stops modulation when it cannot see enough daylight. Since the internal circuitry is controlled by a microprocessor, it allows for customizable features.

Programmable Daylight Sensor

3-Click programming: If you turn the high beam on and then turn the ignition on (3) times quickly, the sequence is interpreted as an active command to change the sensitivity. Software version v.823A allows 8 linear steps between the high and low end.

The daylight sensor has a low frequency filter to avoid false triggering. Please note that florescent lamps may not trigger the sensor - it needs constant incandescent light.

pathBlazer uses a soft-switching technique. It throttles the current flow through the bulb filament, so that there's no "thermal shock" due to a sudden inrush of current, which can damage the bulb filament or shorten its life considerably. This is far superior than maintaining a small voltage!

Select hi-beam to modulate - as long as there's sufficient daylight. If you enter a tunnel or if it gets dark, it will stop the modulation of the hi-beam and stay ON steady. Select lo-beam to end modulation.

Pathfinder & PathBlazer LEDs & Modulator

Posted by Wing Nut on Oct 15, 2016

Got a 2012 Gold Wing and changed up to LEDs from my stock bulbs but the LEDs I used were not as good as the original stock bulbs. A fellow rider had upgraded with the Pathfinder LEDs from SoCalMotoGear and liked them...sooo I replaced my newly installed LEDs with the SoCalMotoGear Psthfinders and...added the Hi Beam Modulator Kit WOW!! I love them...these LEDs are terrific!! Highly recommend them

    LED Headlamps for GL1800

Posted by Steve Miriani on Jul 25, 2016

I replaced my HID's with LED's and a modulator. I like it much better. However, thus far the only time I have really used the LED's with the modulator, is when I split traffic. It is as if the Red Sea parts and allows me to pass. On city streets, with the modulator activated, some vehicles pull to the right as if I am driving an emergency vehicle, which I don't think is very safe. On the freeway when activated, many vehicles slow as if I was a cop. Safety is increased dramatically with the LED's alone and the modulator is an additional tool I use in sticky areas.

    PathFinder lights' and PathBlazer modulator

I've been looking for a high quality set of LED headlights that will work with the headlight modulator. These products are great and work very well together. The purchase experience from SoCalMoto Gear was flawless.
