    LEDs all around the 2010 wing

    (Part 2 of 2) I compared the lights side by side in the garage once the LED was installed on one side. The brightness of the LED was impressive compared to the Silver Stars which was the brightest bulb I could find for the wing. I have not had a chance to ride at night yet so I am looking forward to what the darkness brings. A couple of suggestions when installing the headlights: (1) plug in the light prongs into the bike connector before inserting the light into the socket. This will eliminate trying to get two hands into the space to plug in the lights to the bike wiring. (2) Push the “bulb” end of the light assemble through the rubber boot and stop about half way along the wire heat dissipaters. This is a lot easier than trying to feed the entire light assembly through the boot starting at the plug end. I spend many months researching this and other products… I believe I made the right decision with this large purchase.

    I order the GL1800 Rear LED Conversion Pkg and within a week the product arrived at my home in Canada. The lights were an easy installation. I did not have to install the flasher as one was installed earlier when I changed the front lights to LED's at Wing Ding in Billings. The back of my Goldwing is much brighter now. I would recommend this product and SoCalMotoGear to everyone.
